Get Out Of Your Own Way

Sometimes you are holding yourself back from reaching your full potential and unleashing your greatness. That is why I am telling you to get out of your own way. Getting out of your own way means that you need to stop living an unhealthy lifestyle, stop comparing yourself to other people, stop sitting around watching hours upon hours of television shows, and  stop all of the self-defeating thoughts ( I am fat, I can't do it, blah, blah, blah, etc.) . Those are all affirmations and they are what you call the negative ones. Remember you want to change negative thoughts into positive ones. When you change your thoughts to help you be a better person, you are getting out of your own way. Also, in the process of getting out of your own way is facing your fears. When you stand up to your fears that is going to give you POWER to know that you can do anything you put your mind to. Step out of your box (comfort zone) and do things that you do not normally do, like take a dance class, talk to people when you are out doing daily activities, volunteer, write poetry, etc. When you are learning and participating in new activities, you are giving yourself the opportunity to grow as a person. From here on out please get out of your own way so that you are able to reach your full potential and realize the greatness in you. Say to yourself everyday and out loud: YES I CAN DO IT!
