Everyone Has A Story

This is a great read for young ladies and older ones as well who may need a little inspiring from time to time. By Shaun Robinson of the show Access Hollywood. The book is full of stories from celebrities of all sorts discussing what it takes to believe in yourself and follow your dreams. It is a book to help with self-esteem issues that teen girls go through. I read this book and I thought it was a good book to share with other young girls. So take time and read it and share with others.
Express Your Hearts Desires

Create a vision/inspiration board
This activity is to create a visual component to your dreams/goals and things that inspire you all in one place. All you have to do is find pictures of your goals that you want to accomplish in life and place them on the board. You can put inspirational quotes, poems, and people. You can put places you want to travel to and people you want to me. You can put anything and as much as you want on your board. Remember this is your vision/inspiration board. You can have as many boards as you want as things change throughout your life. When you are finished you can hang it in your room or wherever you can see it everyday to remind yourself of what you need to accomplish. The board is to help reinforce the things you want out life and some people believe that creating these boards help you to receive the things on the board. It is a fun activity to do with friends and family of all ages. A lot of people create these boards like athletes, celebrities, and professionals. I have even had my six year old niece do a board as well as myself. Remember to always follow your dreams and dream big. Do not let others put your dreams down.
Supplies:
-Cork board or poster board, whichever you prefer
-Scissors, Glue, Pens, Magazines, Pictures, Quotes
-Be creative to display your goals and inspirations.
Approach With Caution
I want all of you young ladies to take caution in what you do on all of these social networking sites. I know the sites are fun and you keep in touch with your friends and you meet new ones. But I want you to be aware that there are ignorant people out there who try to use those sites to lure young ladies to them. So do not share any personal information with anyone that you do not know. Please use all of these social networking sites with caution. Another thing is that I want you young ladies to act like a young lady while on these sites. Please do not take pictures of yourself in the nude or compromising positions, that does not make you look good and I do not care if the guys think so. Treat yourself with respect and the guys will respect you as well. Please just use these different sites with caution. Remember that as you start looking for employment at different companies, these potential employers might take a look at your myspace, facebook, twitter, and any other social networking site to see if they want you working and representing their company. So I advise you to be cautious of what you may be posting on those sites. Do not post anything that will prevent you from landing a job. Be smart and make good decisions when it comes to the information you put out for everyone to see. Love and Respect yourself always.
Use Your Voice
To all young ladies,
I want you to know that you have a voice and you should use it to make a difference in this world. Use your voice to speak up about issues you do not agree with or things you want to start or change. Speak up and Speak out, it can make a huge difference even if you do not think so, it can make a change. So I encourage all of you to use your voice and speak up and speak out. I was always taught that a close mouth does not get fed, so open up and ask for what you want.

Love Who You Are <3
Get a sheet a paper and write down positive things about yourself until you can't think of anything else to write. This is a good self-esteem builder. This activity will show you that you are unique and there is no one else like you. Embrace yourself and love who you are. Review it daily when you are feeling down and it will lift you up.
